Wishing you a fabulous new year everyone!

I have been thinking about a special post to welcome us into 2013.

In my head, I decided it needs to be like one of those animated pictures (animated GIF they are called Hubby is telling me). Several ideas were on the table:

1. Me blowing kisses . No, too cheesy.

2. Throwing confettis in air. No, too standard and messy…and I don’t like messy.

3. Me (again) dancing. No, too complicated, potentially very embarassing and can be held against me.

Then I thought again and decided to settle for something that is more, well, “me”. A less is more approach (a very simple sketch), a handwritten note (not sure it is very legible but it comes from me), and fireworks (who doesn’t like fireworks…oh wait the Little One because he finds them scary but I don’t think many 3 year old read this blog, do they?).

Hubby after proof reading this post said “couldn’t you just have written Happy New Year!?!” (the extreme less is more approach I guess).

He had a point. But it wouldn’t be me would it if I left at this?
